Spoilers ahead!

My Problem is that i wanted V to become the legend of NC. So i did everything required for "Path of Glory".
When i was in the Cyberspace i choose the well like it's described in the solution book. Johnny should stay in Cyberspace and V will be a legend.


But a bug changed the option i choose. Instead of triggering the "Path of Glory" and it's following missions, the game started "New dawn fades" where Johnny takes over V's body.

Is this my fault? If yes, what did i wrong?
Did this happened for some of you too? Please let me know.

The well is right at the spot where you have the conversation with Alt and Johnny. Did you go in there or did you think the well was the beam of light?

Who you were playing as? Johnny or V? I.e. did you complete the Arasaka tower assault with Rogue as Johnny or went by yourself aka "Don't Fear the Reaper"? Basically well is the path to the V's body, so if you went to well as Johnny then you Johnny got the V's body (if you are Johnny and want V retain the body you should go towards the light). However if you went to well as V then V should've get the body and you should see the "Path to Glory" ending.

If it is the ending where Johnny voluntarily takes the cyber bullet for you (the so-called secret ending?) then you need to have Johnny at 70 plus percent anything less, and he will not save your cyber butt, and you'll become an Alt C code morsel. For spoiler reasons I can't say anything more... but I am sure there are guides some where on the net.
