So i preordered the game on gog and because i did it digitally, that DOES mean i don't get the physical goodies, right? Cause I wanted those, but guess i had to do this. Someone confirm what I'm saying or debunk, cause maybe they get shipped to you when the game releases? Sorry, i've never preordered, I have no idea how this works

Hey there, Yea... I'm pretty sure the digital version gives you access the digital download. You could possibly contact Gog support and have them cancel your current digital pre-order (or confirm it's possible) (but before canceling, ask them if the physical collectors edition bundle is available for your platform PC/Playstation/Xbox and available in your area. If they can confirm that you can still buy it in your area, and that you can cancel your pre-order, maybe you could ask them if it's safe to place the physical CE bundle order, and then ask them to cancel the digital right after.

Or: worst case scenario, you just avoid all that confusing stuff and keep the digital copy and enjoy the game itself on PC I think, since you can't use the digital version to make another platform run the game. The game is the most important part right?

I don't work for Gog or CDPR, and I'm not a professional. This is all unprofessional and opinion based, and I don't even know if it's possible. It might even make your problem much worse, so do your own research and be very careful.

thank you for this, I'll consider it tomorrow when i wake up and can read that mumbo jumbo, but thank you so much for this and yeah, the game is the most important.
Not sure about Australia but here in the US even the Standard retail edition comes with physical goodies including a "world compendium" book. One of our retailers even has steelbook cases but they are empty anyway -- only a code, no disc.
