Hello CD Projekt RED,

lots people (+my self) cant play first or third person view games, due to the motion sickness. Do you have option(s) to help those people?

I would love to play Cyberpunk 2077, but i cant.

Best regards,
neong

You can switch to third person while in vehicles, first person only for the rest of the game though.
It's 100% a design choice, you'll spend a majority of the time in cramped hallways and (most players they assume) will be using guns.
They probably could have made a third person perspective for the game but they probably didn't because they'd have to redesign a lot of the world and "levels" of the game, also they'd have to spend a lot of time making new animations that'd work with third person and making it feel solid (going to be honest, i never thought third person felt great in the Fallout series for example, and first person still feels really off in GTA5/RDR2 because you still have all the weird weight and physics and the fov feels low as if you are still in third person. I personally feel like even when a game gives you the option to play in both modes, one gets heavily side-lined, and i'm guessing CDPR thought it'd be better to just focus on designing everything around one and they picked FP.)
I know it might not be good news for you and people suffering from that kind of stuff from these kind of games, but i do hope i at least made it understandable why they chose to make it FP
and if mod support is okay enough... maybe one day someone will make a third person mod for the game.
Can't say for sure if it'll be good enough to play it with but it's possible even if the tools are a bit restrictive like TW3s

VERY good to know.
Thanks.
Now, if we can confirm that they have KeyBoard/Mouse NOT hardcoded (like they did in TW3), and that we can rebind EVERY key (KB AND Mouse), and that it wont break the game (metro exodus) OR it does NOT have hidden (hardcoded) keys bound to a single key (Chained key bindings), OR it does have ANY HIDDEN keys that you cant even get to to be rebinded, then I would pre-order right now, this instant.
But, TW3 had a LOT of keybinding issues, AND had FOV issues (which FOV does NOT seem to be a problem in 2077, woohoo), and I couldnt play the game until months after it was released, which made me kind of forget the game/gameplay, buttons, what wqas going on, and it took me WAY longer to get back into the game than if this stuff was not an issue from the get-go, from the very 1st gameplay).
Anyway, TW2 and TW3 (although great games) just did NOT have PC controls right from the beginning, I just cant justify getting the game only to NOT be able to play it for a few months (and then to get soured on the gameplay from NOT being able to play), I just cant chance it. They cater too much to consoles and controllers for me to buy the game right now (although %30 off might just do it, lol).

Thanks for the info though. Very good to know.

This is very helpfull. If CDPR implement the option to turn off headbob & wider FOV. Then that would be so awesome. Sadly not every game have this option.
