I played Cyberpunk 2077 on my pc with the GOG version. A few weeks ago I bought an Xbox Series X (which is much faster than my pc) and got Cyberpunk for it in a sale. I started a new game on Xbox as cross platform saves didn't exist yet. But I didn't play much, less than an hour.

Now I want to transfer my pc savegames with around 25 hours gameplay onto my Xbox.

I did the following:

- updated the GOG version on my PC to 1.6
- synced the savegames with the cloud
- updated the Xbox version to 1.6
- linked it to my GOG account
- if I check cross progression with RB on Xbox it says that I'm logged in

But the GOG savegames don't appear in the load menu on my Xbox.

I restarted the game (no quick resume), I rebootet my Xbox, tried it on three days in a row but the pc savegames just don't appear. And yes, of course the Xbox is always online.

What can I do? Do I have to delete all previous Xbox savegames first? I don't wanna try that because if the cloud sync still doesn't work I also lose my Xbox progress.
Have you checked if cross progression is enabled in-game?
You can do it by opening the game (on your pc) and, from the main menu, go to Settings > Gameplay > Miscellaneous.
Cross platform saving should be there, it was off by default for me.

EDIT Just for good measure, check if it's enabled also on your Xbox.

Yep, enabled it on both platforms after updating to 1.6.

Maybe it's a good idea to double-check it again. After it didn't work I checked whether I'm logged in on both platforms but I checked cross progression only on Xbox. I'll check it again in the pc version, thanks! That's the only thing I didn't double-check, maybe it was turned off again for some reason.

But I got a message on pc that my savegames were synced for cross platform. I carefully looked for that because I wanted to make sure that the pc version is the version that syncs first as it has the most progression.
The only other thing that comes to my mind is maybe try and make a save with version 1.6? I mean, if you have saves from older versions load one up and save again running the game on the latest patch.

Other than that, I suggest you contact tech support.

I checked the option yesterday and everything was active as expected. Then I had the same idea like you and loaded the last savegame and saved again. That savegame had a cloud icon that all the others didn't have. I started the Xbox version, got a sync notification and the newly created savegame appeared.

So despite what they are writing, the last quicksave, autosave and manual save aren't synced. The are only synced if they were created AFTER enabling cloud progression. ARGH!

It works now, thanks!
