How to holster weapon with a keyboard+mouse? I know about Alt key weapon menu, but it is pretty annoying doing this all time, maybe i miss a hotkey?

Also, there is sixth locked skill tree, what is it for?
Double Tab ALT
You need to tab it fast or your character will just switch to the next weapon.

Which is maybe the worst key bind choice I have ever seen in gaming.
If you hold down <ALT> for a longer time you get a menu where you can select what you want with the mouse. Which isn't much better than that double tab.

This is a really annoying key binding, for me it's like 50% of the time switching guns and 50% putting the gun away.

wow, thank you so much.
you can manually edit the default key bindings located in "*:\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config\inputUserMappings.xml".

I've seen far worse.

Imagine interact/activate as one of the CTRL keys.
That's usually sneak in games and I can't stand it... I always rebind sneak to C.

Imagine a game where you need to fast change between skills, but all the skills are F5 - F9.
Yeah.....

I find double tapping alt to be ok; not as good as a dedicated key... but I realize they are needing to make this work on controllers too, so I'm ok with it until they fix the keybinds.

Ouch!

For me double tap alt is bad as it is just outside my easy movement range for my hand and it is next to the windows key so I occassionaly land on my desktop instead of putting my gun away.

correct me if im wrong, but R for reload and hold-R for holster has been the default for any FPS for decades... no?

and now we get the confusing controls of cyberpunk...

for me, the breaking point was always having to press ESC multiple times to get out of a menus.

the entire set of controls and interface feel like a HUGE step backwards in FPS-RPG gaming. if one can say RPG at all

thats true, the first thing that i tried is hold-R key
Also yes, multiple ESC key for closing all opened submenu for just return to game, become pretty annoying after 30 hours of playing

"I" is the default bind for "open / close hubmenu"... meaning if you press I while in inventory, perks, or whatever it closes all menus and returns straight to the game. ESC was added more second thought for the players. Rebind as you see fit, of course.
