I just bought CP2077 and want to install v1.61, because the vortex mod package from nicottn (Vortex),
that I want to use does not run with the latest version.

Is there a way to install only up to patch 1.61 or to downgrade from 1.62 to 1.61?

P.S.: was on steam, there I could not stop automatic upgrades. Spend a lot of time to find a working mod package.
Then all was ready I played 2 days and guess what happens, auto update from v1.61 to v1.62 and game crashes on every start. Not possible to be played with those mods. Then people recommended me GOG, that I can set per game, that I want to have manual updates. Hope I didn't came too late as it appears to me now, that GOG also wants to install now the latest and greatest.

Please don't use GoG Galaxy. That game client - like every other - just sucks. You want to get a specific patch, download an earlier version, and manually patch it to whatever you want. :)

Sadly though, if you haven't downloaded a local copy of every patch as they have been released, your only option is to get a .torrent. Either for just the patch(es), or a complete install of an earlier version of the game.
