I understand that the laws of marketing are beyond the logic, but the price of 59.99 is really funny.

Why not set the price at 60.00?
Or more simply at 59.00?

"GOG.com is the place was made for gamers, so make yourself at home"

Or this quote is not true?
A discount of 1 cent is really a joke...

very simple:
psychology: If the human brain recognize $59.99 it simply interprets this as $50+ not as barely less than $60. The price feels significant lower than $60 even if it is not.
you could call that a feel-good price if you like, but everyone does this.

I shop at stores for food, and other products... I notice this all the time. It's not new, or something made by Gog, I can confirm. Peace.
