i did not really like the main plot and how it's being presented (chooses) etc.
so kind of wonder is it only me or did you also think it was underwhelming?.

personally i would like to see the end quest being remade into more options how V ends up
for example a healthy V with Bio-chip removed.

Im not done but it's messy thats for sure.
Similar feelings here.

Before the release everyone was saying combat & gameplay is going to be mediocre but story amazing - becouse thats what CDPR is good at.

To me everything is flipped, combat is like the most fun part of this game and story is like - WHATEVER.
NPC's are interesting but the main story ? meh.

On my second playthrough now, and I am avoiding main story like a plague.
And most ridcules part is that they create this sense of urgency with main plot, but if you do it feels like they punish you for going that way.
I will now make second character and see how far I can go without touching main quest line (well, from the point I get the pills).

P.S.
I really hope there is (or if not - it will be added soon) and option to skip this intro missions after you done it once.

I reached level 28 that way, and i like main story quests.

I kind agree with this post

I king of liked it but at the same time was left feeling disapointed. I know the bugs will be worked out in time but the main story conclusion was a downer. I got a non-optimal ending (my first play through) and I am hearing many similar comments from my friends who wanted a happy ever after. I kind of am left feeling the same as how I did for the bad ending of the Witcher III where Geralt and Ciri both die. It sucks and I kind of dont want to try again...

I also really hate the mechanic that pushes you back to before the last mission set after the credits, I like being able to clear the mission board and go, yep I am done. I will wait impatiently for a mod that allows you to play completed like that as was possible in the witcher 3 or GTAV.

Overall a good game stunning graphics, but buggy and left me feeling meh. Hope there is a happy ending version
I kind of agree with this post as well. I find the side quests to be much more thrilling and entertaining then the main quest line. But I think CDPR knew that, that's why they gated the side quests behind main quest lines, forcing you to do the main quest.

The main quest also feels a lot more railroaded then the gigs and side quests. GO here, fight this boss, but you need to fight them this way, watch 5 minute conversation scene that really doesn't play a part in the rest of the story, and then end like this, where choices don't really matter (until the end at least)

The side quests though seem that choice matters a lot more and they seem to be more interesting and griping.
I lost a lot of interest in my character with the whole JS taking over story. They have put an unavoidable death on the character so no matter what you achieve you are dead, so why bother? That I was enjoying the game until that point amplified the stupidity of the situation.

I've not progressed that character any further and don't see any point in doing to, any other character is going to end at the same point so the game (other than hanging around Watson) is over.

They could have gone through with the option to betray Dex and hand the intact case to Evaline, turning Dex against you and the other fixers unwilling to work with you until you built your street cred to a certain point. Dex would have people out looking for you and Evaline, resulting in Evaline being your source of work.

Or, you give Dex the case and depending on if you tell him about Evaline wanting to screw him over. Tell him and you are caught in a war between the two sides, but you can get work from the other fixers. Don't tell him and have him know about Evaline anyway and he betrays you - dumping you and the whole crawl, drive survive to Viks.

Which ever got the chest and chip could install in a donor body resulting in JS becoming a threat as he gets out of control and targets the whole city.

No matter which path you chose Arasoka would still be after you.

yea would be lot more interesting if they split the story at dex into 2 paths one with jackie and one with V.
would have made a much stronger RPG game of it
The story - up to where I have played - seems rather boring and I find myself not caring what happens to V, Keanu SIlverballs or any of them.

Whole thing is all rather disappointing so far, really.

They could have had JS slowly take over Jackie due to is injuries after the heist, turning Jackie and V more and more at odds with each other. Where at some point V has to kill her former friend or allow him to continue as Jackie Silverhand.

Either way it wouldn't result in your character having an unavoidable death timer.
