Okay, I know I'm going to come out as a complete tool probably, but where am I supposed to download patches for the GOG offline installation?

Firstly when I was claiming my physical copy the client was constantly showing errors and didn't want to recognize my CD key. Then finally it did got the receipt and the game showed in my account on the website but never as an owned game in the galaxy client.

That's fine I added it manually after installing it offline.

But now I expected the autoupdate to do something when patches roll out. I am still running 1.03 and I see the links to the patch notes but I scour all gog and cyberpunk sites pages and I can't find any patches to download.

I know this is stupid and probably I'm missing something obvious but I am running out of ideas.

Please anyone advise?

Go to the GOG.com website, click on Cyberpunk tile in your library, click on "download offline backup game installers", download the patch(es) that you need, run them.

Let me know if you still struggle.

Yep, that worked. I was looking there every day just to be sure and what do you know? Found a patch there last night only after I finally gave up on searching for it and posting a question...

Still silly as I may be - I don't understand why it took so much time to upload it on gog when it was already rolled out for steam users. I may be wrong but I think they have it for a few days now

Let me understand this, the patch file search the game path? How does it search, every folder?

That I cannot tell you. I downloaded the patch last night when I saw that is out and didn't need to do anything aside from starting it's exe file. It did everything else on its own.

The patch file knows where you have installed the game - I guess based on Windows registry entries. So you don't have to specify.
