This game is so frustrating. It played fine when it launched, literally not one crash, now I can't even play the game with out crashing multiple times. My hardware didn't change at all.

I've tried everything I can think of to get this game working.. It's to the point where I don't know what to do and I am growing beyond frustrated.. I really want to like this game but it's proving very very hard to do..

Please if anyone can help please do..

I've tried fresh installs on 2 different drives, 1 m.2, 1 ssd. I've deleted all old install files and installed fresh. I've updated gaming drivers. I've updated windows. I've disabled game bar. I've ran as admin. I've disabled GoG overlay.. Nothing is brings stability to this game..

I really with that the crash reported provided more information that just saying the game flatlines.. Coming to the forums is a last ditch effort.. Idk what else to do.

are you sure nothing changed? like new wifi card or even a keyboard?

the game for me crashes now on load but a 2 weeks ago was crashing every couple minutes. nothing changed except windows update and drivers updates.

there is something really wrong with the core of the game.

It's so frustrating.. Nothing in my system has changed aside from drivers and windows updates.. It makes no sense as to why it's started crashing on my rig.. It also makes no sense that there's been absolutely nothing said by CDPR about the wide spread issue.

I've literally tried every fix I can find online and nothing has worked. It makes me wish I could refund the game and it makes me regret buying it on GOG.. Steam would refund me simply because the game doesn't work.

Also did you try cascade shadows (either max or low.) both options at the same time.


but i think for some 1.6 is broken. hopefully CDPR knows about it and will rectify it for 1.7
