I ended up going online and finding out about what endings the player can end up with. Sad to say that I ended up feeling like I got slapped with another Mass Effect 3 ending. When weighing the options, I seriously considered the option of V just eating a bullet and just finishing the game right then and there.

The Aldecaldos ending seemed like the happiest ending...even though you're terminally ill and got 6 months to live. In games with multiple endings, I always try to find an ending that leaves me feeling content. Where the most amount of friends survive and the world gets the best outcome. I had hoped that, in the end, the chip would be removed safely. Instead, every ending seems to be a "Sure you won...but you still lose in the end."

At least I didn't have a blank look on my face while saying "WHAT?" like the ending (all of them) to Mass Effect 3.

Is this just some theme that runs with any and all Cyberpunk stories? No such thing as a "Good" ending? Instead, it's just how bad of a "Bad" ending do you want?

Aside from the different endings, I really enjoyed the game.
For me it is not even a matter of "good" or"bad", as much as it is about all of them beeing "closed".

I was really expecting an open world ending, where you can finish main line and continue in some way, other than reload last checkk point and pretend you do not know what happend.

And it does not have to be "good" really. Why not:
- we removed the chip but you will die any way, now go back and do your best in that tme (and it does not have to be finite gameply wise, just for roleplay perspective)
- we removed the chip but it broke you so bad that now you have to reshape yourself (and you get a chance to respend skills as if you were just rebuild)
- we will make a digital copy of you, but you will now continue in new body (an option for "new game +" )

As it is right now, it feels like a cheap trick.
And on top of that, when you go back to play further and do any side quest ,the quest log automatically selects main line quest as next. As if someone was trying to force to stop playing.

I really do not understand why they did it that way.
i choose also the (6 months option) so i could kill silverhand
but indeed like my previous post i find the ending really stupid

what really trigger me is that silver hand kind of claims that V rise to greatness thanks to him
it did not feel right with the chooses i made ingame because i kind of opposed and done anything that he did not like.

the endgame need more ending options

It's kinda hinted that maybe game isn't over yet for V in that ending.
Yeah, I don't know who came up with these endings.

You basically get to die slowly in the near future, die right now achieving nothing, die and become corpo property, or die as Johnny's absolute bitch (and he gets your body to play with).

It's like they had a group session where they tried to come up with frustrating and unsatisfying endings and these were the top scorers.

And to make it even more dumb, they've technically lied about playing on after the MQ. We cannot do that, for obvious reasons, since V is either plain dead or a walking corpse. So the game does a completely inexplicable and incomprehensible Wayne's World time jump back to before we started the last bit of the MQ instead, allowing os to not play after the MQ but to instead zip back to before the MQ.

The game is pretty good overall, but some of the decisions made are absolutely ludicrous.
