cekobidonq: WTF is in this 600MB patch that it has my hard drive running at 100% for 3 hours and is still stuck at 57%? I was hoping to play this weekend. I've been stuck "applying patches" on a 600MB patch for hours now.
At this point I just uninstalled the game and I'm downloading fresh. If this happens again I'll won't be downloading it again, at least for the next few months until it's fixed.
The update isn't stuck, its is rewriting a lot of game files. Mine took about 4 hours on a really slow 5200 drive, so just have patience... Uninstalling and installing it again just makes it that longer before it finishes.

So... If your patch requires X GB of free space, and the hard drive does not contain X GB of free space,

ALERT THE USER THAT THEY NEED TO TO FREE UP X GB OF FREE SPACE INSTEAD OF JUST SITTING THERE.

I feel you this is the second patch I am installing and I got a good pc with plenty of room and it just jacks my disk to 100. It blows. I am regreting when a patch comes out.
