I had the full game already installed and even played several bits of it and now all of a sudden its downloading another 54 gigs.

I don't mind though, just surprised :)

Haven't seen any specific patch notes.
Ok its been a week since I've launched the game so I probably missed a lot but talking about a big patch though... lol

The total patch size from 1.03 to 1.06 is just over 2 gigs if you patch manually, so what you're seeing is probably just inefficient file validation - or worse, a redownload of the entire language repository, which is itself something close to 50 gigs.

Not saying the patch isn't a big deal, just that it's not nearly so big as your client is leading you to believe.

Strange. Only 504 mb here, but I launch galaxy fairly often.

That's very strange cause the game seemed to be working fine already before so why an entire new download for such a small patch?

A total new download of the language repository?
That's strange unless they changed text lines for several characters.
At least that would be the first thing I would think of then.

Mind sharing the patch details with me? I don't launch it every day but I think often enough for this to happen.

Never had problems with games where others have cause I know how to keep my pc clean, not running much in the background and everything is always up-to-date.
Worked in the IT sector so that helps a bit and I'm far from new to gaming.

Think this is either a case from either the Gog Galaxy launcher or the game.
Don't know.
