If you read the original guidebook, the lore is even more fun. Cyberpunk 2020 is really cool and deserves more recognition, honestly. Even Cyberpunk Red is cool (I watched a video because I can't afford to buy the games and their die).

I am overwhelmed by this game. This game cannot be properly reviewed with less than 100 hour playtime.

I honestly agree, people say this world is dead but the dead worlds are the GTA style ones with peds that comment on the player all the time and have no soul of their own. Eavesdropping on conversations is fun, sure things are hit and miss but you can tell that love went into the game planning all those small scripted events. Too many people I feel are just rushing through, screaming kill kill kill kill and ignoring the content rich environment.

Yes, small drinking animations and stuff would have been nice, but the world building is outstanding.

I really do like some of the sidequests that introduce me to the little things in the world. :-)

This game is certainly inspired not only by cyberpunk 2020, but by every 80's-90's cyberpunk or sci-fi movies in related settings. Bladerunner (both), Dredd, 5th Element, Demolition Man, you name it. Of course there is a lot to love in its lore.

No way, 2017 for sequel? They have said estimated development time for Witcher 4 is already 4 year, add 1-2 year more to it.

I'm enjoying it. There is a lot to take in.
