tfishell: GOG doesn't do porting anyway. Maybe CDPR? :-P

lukaszthegreat: they did wonderful job on saints row 2 so who knows
They did a port, yes, but I'm not so sure about your use of "wonderful", with the game speeding up more the further from the XBox 360's speed your PC was, with some situations becoming largely unplayable on the wrong PC.

Also, that was CD Projekt, not CD Projekt RED.

Last time I read about that it was more like "it was ported by monsters". Even with mods driving gets from pure punishment to just annoing.

SR3 was a wonderful port. :)
With the way every single scene in Uncharted (and The Last of Us for that matter) has been custom tailored to make the most of the PS3 hardware, I think it's a herculean task to port those games to PC.

If - and that's a very strong if - that is even possible, I doubt it would be anywhere close to financially viable.

Gerin: Or even Uncharted 2? It's sposta be a great game.
Member of GOG for more than 5 years, you still don't understand what GOG does... GOG do not port games. Games do not port just because someone wants to. There is a reason why we don't have PC ports even for simple games like FF1, Chrono Trigger, Xenogears or even Dragon Quest.

If the IP owner decide to make an port, afterwards, GOG might be able to sell it here. Otherwise, GOG can't do anything about any game, unless they buy the rights to do so. And as it's not their business to do that, but to sell games, they are not gonna do it.
Naughty Dog hasn't done a PC game since Keef the Thief. That one came out in 1989, since then they've been exclusively a console house.
I almost jumped out of my seat, say what you will about Uncharted but I love that series (almost as much as Ratchet and Clank).
Can someone else bother explain how things work, please? I've done this one too many times. It bores me now.
I would be more interested for The Last of Us too, but yeah, I don't see a possibility of porting it. At least in the near future.

so you want Reds to do your games now?

Why do you hate freedom so much?

Yes this. I love it. One of the best game/storytelling with an actual amazing story around.
GOG does not port games, is a publishing portal, has nothing to be with that. UNCHARTED is a SONY property, they would be the only ones able to decide and port the game to any other platform.
question is will it ever get ported to pc, best thing get a ps3 and just play it

The Uncharted series and The Last of Us have already been ported to the PS4, though, which is essentially a PC in terms of its hardware. Still, I think it's very unlikely we'll ever see an actual PC port of these games.

I have as much freedom as anyone could ever want in this shoebox I have been forced to cram myself into.
