So, developer Free Lives released a big update for Brofoce back in May:

i just sent them a tweet. hopefully we'll hear back. theyve honestly been pretty good about keeping the gog version up to date but sometimes there is a delay.

There's some discussion in the update thread where folks have said that they were going to contact the devs as well but no one reported back on a response.

I contacted them via twitter, tried it via the Broforce forum on Steam. No reaction. So many developers do not care about their GOG versions. It's super frustrating! -_-

You know what's also missing? The freeware spinoff of Broforce, The Expendabros.

We wouldn't have this problem if GOG took responsibility and made it clear to the developers to keep the games up to date or get the fuck out.

Like it is now it's better to wait to buy games after they have gotten their final patch or been updated for years on end without trying to contact them for it to happen so you won't get shafted and have an outdated game in your library with no chance for refunds.

Fuck these devs, fuck them.

I've also contacted the devs about the missing update. About 2 weeks ago via the contact form on their webpage and later I've tried it again on the Steam forums.
