I'm only interested in the original game, not the much maligned Enhanced Edition. The original is not on sale, the EE is, but on its store page it says "For the price of Blade Runner - Enhanced Edition, the original version of Blade Runner is also added to your GOG library."

So, just to be asbolutely clear - if I buy this

I guess I'm a bit confused since the normal price for both is the same. So if EE is in fact a bundle of both, I don't really see much point in a selling the original separately.

IIRC original was pulled out at first when EE released, but quickly restored because there was huge outrage about this. They surely only did this because of how terrible EE was, and it would look really bad otherwise. At this point it's indeed kinda pointless with those discount prices.

I bought the original when it was released here, and it came with a few extras, plus a Linux and Mac version.

When the EE version came out, there was so many bad reports and reviews, that I decided not to buy it, but to wait and see if they fixed anything.

It had a few updates, but it was never clear that they had fixed what really mattered, so I kept ignoring it, until it finally got enough of a discount. That last took ages, because it was always the same 50% discount for years, not taking into account that many of us already had the original.

Anyway, I finally got it cheap enough to risk it.

My library has two separate entries for the game. The EE version does not have the extras listed or the other OS versions.

I'm really not sure why EE isn't just labled as a bundle, or what is the point of selling the original separate at the same base price as the bundle. Mysterious are the ways of GOG.

The remaster was bad. The original was removed from sale and forcibly bundled with the remaster. People were not happy about that and didn't want to give money to Night Dive (for the bad remaster) just to get the original. GOG obliged by bringing the original back with the previous publisher.

Ah, see, I didn't notice the different publisher.
