As title says, for some reason Galaxy cannot sync cloud saves nor look for updates. Is there any service that it requires to be on that I don't have enabled? I just don't understand. In the firewall I made sure every process related to Galaxy has access to the internet. This is super frustrating.

This is not about Galaxy 2.0 as a program, but the service it uses or IPs it connects to for cloud saves and downloads. I need to know those. I probably should have added this info to the OP.

I use whitelists for letting programs and services connect to the internet. Everything is blocked unless I specifically give it permission. I gave every process related to Galaxy full permissions, but I still have global filters. When I disable my firewalls, cloud saves and updates do work. Hence I want to know what Galaxy tries to connect to for cloud saves, or if there's some service that I need to enable.

No doubt the same issue would occur with Galaxy 1 (I just happen to have the 2.0 beta) as it's clearly a networking issue.

You could try to log the requests. Actually the firewall, depending on the program, should log failed outgoing requests so you can see why stuff fails or to notice suspicious activities.

OK, I used Glasswire to check what's happening during the cloud saves. GalaxyClientService is the process that's downloading and uploading them. So weirdly, "GalaxyClientService.exe" didn't have permission to access the internet. I wasn't notified that it tried to access the internet as far as I remember so I never took it into consideration. Maybe I just clicked the notification away by accident at some point.

Anyhow, thanks for the replies.
