Can you be more specific about what you're expecting to see?

I don't think GOG lets you redeem Steam copies of the Witcher 3 on GOG. Are you maybe mixing up GOG and Galaxy?

They used to allow you to do that, but that promotion ended a while ago.
GOG Connect is dead too.

I don't recall that. It applied to TW 1 and 2 but not 3 as far as I am aware.

I think it was like a year or 2 ago? It was pretty brief and I don't think they really advertised it.

Oh wow yeah, I do remember that now actually. But as you and CthuluIsSpy said, it was incredibly short lived, unlike the "reclaim your game" style-thing they did for the first two.

Maybe the OP doesn't mean redemption? He might just be saying his Steam copy of TW3 isn't visible to launch through Galaxy.

It could be GOG Connect, but I reckon you are on the money.

I suppose the Steam mentality is at fault, where the store and client are named the same, whereas here the client has the different name of Galaxy or at least GOG Galaxy. It certainly comes across as weird when they call the client just GOG, and rather tends to confuse many folk.

@OP - GOG is the store, Galaxy is the client.
