Play Battle Brothers. This game has many sad, funny, beautiful and disgusting moments.

dtgreene: It occurred to me that Celeste ($20 on itch.io) might be worth checking out; it's a pure platformer, but the plot is actually quite serious.
I've seen a stream play of this. Really good, I wish it were on gog.

Tcharr: Lord of the Rings Online. Make a Hobbit Minstrel. Get through the Intro, and have fun playing music. :)

Laurelin and Landroval servers would be best for this.

Kazica: So I've played a lot of games dealing with greif and getting through the five stages of it. Just wondering if there was anytyhing simular for depression/anxity to help lesson thier effects of the illness in the real world as I live with cronic deppresion and anxity disorder.

I'd love to hop into a game on a "bad" day and it to be able to help me so I can go about you know acvtually playing most of my libary of games <.<.

Could you all be super people and list me some wonderful copeing/ playable joys?.
When you feel depressed, I don't recommend playing games to try to subdue that feeling. Instead, go outside for a nice walk or meet up in person with friends and talk to them about how you feel.

Depression can be amplified by things such as being a night owl, poor diet, lack of exercise and staying indoors too much.
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is supposedly a good mental illness simulator, especially from the aural aspect thereof.

Big folk stand out at the Green Dragon Friday gatherings. Better that you make a Hobbit for the weekly party. ;)

That looks like my place.
Well, Traum deals with paranoia and insecurities in a relationship. All from a male's perspective too.

I have like no freinds in my area and any I do are all busy doing thier own thing and have no time for soem one who is ill. Secondly I already do loads of excersie and spend loads of time in the day star so these are for my "off" time time I already spend indoors.
Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn has a lot of sensitive subjects in it.

It deals with all of them in exactly the wrong ways.

On a more serious matter, my pick is Aquaria, for both the visual beauty and the subjects it deals with.
