There's something about reading a person say that they bought over a hundred games in one sale that just makes me smile.

Hi folks, it's been a while since I've posted. Thought I'd stop by for a bit. Just a public thank you for creating this thread in my absence. I've decided, after thinking about it for a while, to tentatively return to the forums, although I don't want to post as often as I used to.

That said, since I still peek in here from time to time anyway... here's my tiny haul:

Besides the game I bought early in the sale (Act of War), I was contacted by a random user who gifted me System Shock 2 (thanks again, olegome!), and I bought Sacred on impulse just before shutting off the computer and going to bed last night.
Yes, I am a model of restraint. Look upon me in awe!

And still nothing, I actually planned to buy a couple things but I've been busy lately and forgot to check everyday.

I gave away all my other free game codes (I somehow managed to exploit Galaxy and got a pair of each code; if I bought games via browser and then via Galaxy it kept two different trackings of how much money I'd spent, thus giving me two codes of each -- the only one I kept for myself was a Riddick one, everything else I gifted).

13 had been wishlisted, 10 I had been eyeing for a while and decided to take the plunge, 6 were new to the site, and 9 were impulse buys, especially at the end of the sale.
I'm pleased with my haul as even if even if I can't play some of the games, someone in the family will. Especially at Christmas time and the holidays when everyone is around.
