I tried opening my GOG client today and I got greeted with this error message:

Windows cannot find C:\ Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\GalaxyClient.exe. Make sure you typed the name correctly, then try again.

How do I solve this? I tried re installing and it did not help.

- Deactivate your antivirus software.
- Re-install Galaxy
- Start Galaxy
- If Galaxy starts, get rid of your antivirus software because it's quarantining harmless files due to bad heuristics
- If the problem persists, I don't know what could be causing it. But get rid of your antivirus software anyway if you're on windows because Windows Defender is on par with third party AV suites.

I never have problems with Galaxy on Linux ;-) . . . Aside from it being impossible to download.

Yoo hoo, we have your solution over here! ;p
Jokes aside, we are seriously seeing too many threads with this problem lately. GOG ought to take action.
With such a limited ability to fix things, I sometimes wonder how GOG prioritizes it's stupendously immense backlog of broken functionality.
