Hi! I have a question. I usually download games via the browser, but recently I've been trying GOG Galaxy and, when I import the folder of the previously installed games, they sometimes updated automatically. That is the part I don't get. What is it updating?
It literally just updated a game I installed 1 o 2 days ago, so I don't think it is because a newer version came out. I've also seen the “cheching local files” message, and after that Galaxy always downloads something. Right now it seems that it is downloading the whole game again.
Could someone clarify this for me? Thanks!
EDIT: It seems it reverts back any changes I made to the files (such as mods, changes to .ini files and language patches). I will deactivate automatic updating now.
