I finished Heroes 0f Might and Magic 5, but, was unable to launch Hammers of Fate game.

What exactly is the issue? Are you getting an error message?

No, i did not get an error message.
I looked at files and saw HoMM5 application, however, I did ne see a Hammmers of Fate application/shorcut.
I did see the file of the manual for Hammers of Fate,
I thought tha it might be an imbedded aplication, but, I only got HoMM5 original and I was not transferred to Hammmers of Fate.
Hmmers of Fate used to be a seperate progam/application.

Sorry, I don't have the game on GOG, only on DVD. In my installation the exe for HoF is in bina1 subfolder in the installation folder.

Not sure how GOG handles it; whether it's a separate installer or not.

Exactly the same here. I have downloaded both HOMM5 / HoF and "Tribes of the East". There are 2 desktop icons - one for HOMM5, and another for TOTE.

The HOMM5 one runs that, and I've finsihed the camaigns, and the TOTE one runs that.

There is no option anywhere though to run HoF. The Library says I have both, but checking the downloaded files shows all the HOMM5 vanilla files, but nothing at all about HoF.


Aha! Once I made my comment, I then got to see the rest of the thread - as with the answer above, I found the HoF executables in a BINA file.

To say this is not helpful is to put it mildly.......
