I only started keeping track this year (I'll never get that "Honorary German" title, will I?), but let's see:

20 finished, but 3 replays - so 17 newly beaten. But I've played another 19 which I didn't finish, though not all of them were new (=previously unplayed) and some I played only a little (=one hour or less), so let's say 13, for convenience. So perhaps between six and seven hundred, if we take 30 to be the average.

Too many, I'm burnt out at the moment, or maybe it's just old age....

Interesting. I followed much the same procedure when I decided to try compiling a list early this year (or was it last year?). I won't even bother to count how many are on it, as some are tentative, and it's still by no means comprehensive (there was a period of time several years ago where -- aside from my old console games -- I was mostly playing browser games; I tried quite a lot of different ones). Nevertheless, it's still a decent-length list (though nothing like some of the people here could compile). I've uploaded it for any curious souls to peruse. <i>LINK</i>

I found the exercise of looking up all those half-remembered games to be illuminating in and of itself. There are games on my list that I never would have remembered (nor likely though of again) had I not gone to the (fairly minor) effort of researching them.

^This. It was kind of cool to look at the screenshots of some almost forgotten games, or look if there are youtube videos of them, and feel the memories come rushing back.
