I have had the Freespace 2 on disc for ten or eleven years now and played it and dropped it halfway as in my opinion I had space sims that I enjoyed much more in my game library, like B5:IFH, IW2, X3. But, for free I do not mind grabbing a copy. Who knows if my disc runs anymore what with so many copy protection systems blocking you from playing your own games.

Now this is my kind of sale =) Let me see if there is anyhting I do not have yet and can afford.

Quite a few titles that would fit in are not included but that is just business as usual.

Probably the most notable offer: Homeworld: Emergence at 80% discount. The best discount I remember so far was 50%.

And thanks for the giveaway, although I already own the game and the code I may get probably expires soon.

According the the gift mail the code is valid until the 9th of october.

Indeed! After seeing that discount I bought the game immediately. You never know if it's not a mistake and get corrected soon. Usually games do not go straight from 50% to 80% discount.

A lot of Paradox games there, but GOG is still missing the highly-desired Cities: Skylines for some reason. (unrelated to outer space of course) Maybe GOG is waiting for Galaxy 2 to have something like Steam Workshop support; I wonder if Galaxy 2 could even integrate with Steam Workshop somehow.
