The reviews on it are polarizing at best. And I know that this game is not trying to be like Dark Corners of the Earth.

Its pretty much an adventure game less on action/survival and more exploration/dialog.

I think there is a gog twitch VOD out there for you to look at to get a better idea of the game. Haven't played it myself though.

The game is good, but it's not an RPG. Think of it more as a blend of third-person point & click (looking for clues, examining items, talking to a lot of NPCS) with some perks to pick from that affect gameplay (unlocking speech options motly) and a tiny tiny bit of combat.

World building is pretty good, there's a nice touch of the unnatural to everything. It oddly feels more Hammer House of Horror than truly Cthulhu. Either way, good game as long as you can look through a few rough edges and some decisions resulting to next to nothing.

It's a decent game. The atmosphere is amazing as well as voice acting. If you want to buy it, get it on discount.
