Guys how about bringing Just Cause 1 to GOG. If so, go vote for it in the Games WIshlist.

What would be better would be to get the whole set 1-4 on here. 3 especially is great. 2 could have been the best, but had a lot of bugs and annoyances. 4 is only average. 1 was really hard to play all these later, so would be a harder sell. To note, they are published squeenix and they haven’t released anything drm free for many years, so it’s unlikely, not impossible, but unlikely.

Squeenix have even closed down their own DRM-free store not long ago. They screwed over a fine number of people. As you said, DRM-free Squeenix releases here on GOG are extremely unlikely. I would not be suprised to see the rest of their games pulled from GOG at some point down the road. Cheers

they already did that with Urban Chaos
one can hope it's ends here and won't contain more pulled out titles...

Weirdly enough, that one was not directly Squeenix pulling the game on their behalf but actually expiring publishing rights. I guess they just didn't care enough for their legacy backlog and didn't want to burn money so the rights reverted back to the developers. Not sure if the OG developers even exist in 2019 to be honest. Maybe GOG manages to renegotiate a deal and bring it back.

There's no harm in requesting though. Vote it here : https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/just_cause_2006
