Hi,

I keep getting the message when I open my GOG Galaxy:

"Connection to Communication service was lost and could not be restored! GOG Galaxy will now shutdown."

I use windows 10. And this appears for both 1.x version and 2.0 version. Anyone knows how to fix this?

Are you using CryproPrevent? That is what was causing that issue for me so I uninstalled CryptoPrevent.

I have not used that, or at least I believe so. I will check it again today.
Are you using any security software that stops drive by encryption of the HDD?

Hi xuxucmkox,

We need to check the log files to determine what's the problem :)
Please contact with us here: CLICK HERE

Could you please also send the GalaxyClient.log, CommunicationService.log and CommunicationServiceInitialization.log with your support ticket?

All of above can be found here:

> For Windows:
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\logs
You can access the directory using the Run... window (WinKey+R key combination) and entering:
%programdata%\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs

> For MAC:
/Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/Logs

You can open it using the "Go to Folder" command accessible with the Command+Shift+G key combination or selecting Go > Go to Folder from the Finder menu.
