There was a special downward thrust move (dash, jump extra high, attack downwards) which was unnamed in the manual. We called it the scoop. I don't have a good reason why. Something about driving a spoon into a carton of ice cream. The objective was to beat the game using only scoops. I'm pretty sure we beat the game with most individual moves. The most difficult is the Ax-Battler shoulder-- if you don't time it just right, the larger enemies can swat you out of the air. Still doable, though.

Ah. It's been awhile I went up against Death Adder :) Makes sense now though.
