Hello,

Been trying to order a game today and I can't seem to check out with Paypal. I get the Paypal pop-up, press pay, pop-up closes, GOG client does some processing and then my basket is not emptied and payment is not happening. I least not right now. I have tried 4 times now, hopefully I don't see it 4 time tomorrow on my account :-)

Anyone else experiencing the same? Game is Dragon Age - Ultimate Edition. Discounted for the momented.

Thanks.

Probably the problem is with blocking some scripts / cookies.
Check out the following post, perhaps that also works for you:

[edit] At least for the website this should help... if you are using Galaxy, then no clue.

Possibly something to do with new legislation and changes GOG etc have made to comply: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/bnew_authentication_protocol_for_card_paymentsb_3424f

Thanks. Same issue occurs both in browser and Galaxy client.

Thanks. But not sure how this would apply to Paypal. Also I haven't had any issues otherwise (other site/merchant) with Paypal last few days.

No prob, figured it was worth mentioning due to the timing. I don't have a paypal account myself, so can't really be of any more use.

Problem solved. I had Paypal issue as well with Spotify - I updated my CC in Paypal which was about to expire and that resolved it. Now the discount on this game is gone, will have to wait for next time :)

Did you create a support ticket about this issue? If not, you can create one here. We'll see what we can do in this case :)

Thanks for the support and offer. I assume the discount will return at some poin in time. Travelling for work quite a bit in the coming weeks, so not urgent.

GOG is the only place where I have a payment issue with Paypal, the ONLY place. They just don't care about fixing it. Probably Paypal charges them too much and they just don't want to admit it.

fuytters: Hello,

If you are paypal user and you face a problem in commission calculation. Then must try Calculadora PayPal 2023. Me also use it from a long time.

Thanks.

No, that's not it. Most of us have no problem with Paypal (including me). Just used it again yesterday, works just fine.

In order for them to fix it, they would need to know what the problem is and if it's even based on their side.

Some firewalls currently block GOG scripts. According to a rumor they relocated the servers and some firewalls are not happy about that.
