Funny, I always wanted to play this, but the Uplay only thing turned me off. Just didn't want to bother maintaining several collections on a bunch of different platforms. But for free, I take anything :D

Sorry folks, this is not DRM free, it still requires Ubisoft's garbage client.

Has this been confirmed ?.

I'm installing it right now and instead of 'launch' it says 'ubisoft login required'.

Edit: yep, it won't load unless you link your ubisoft account, and you can't run from the exe either.

God I hate Ubisoft.

I give props to Epic for trying but Ubisoft had to ruin their parade with their nonsense.

I assume you need to download the Epic client to access the game?

Thanks for letting us know. Unlike some others here, I'm grateful that I can simply play games and don't feel the need to nit pick EVERYTHING.

One of the only platformers I've ever fully 100% competed. Huge amount of content in it. One of the best platformers ever made, I played it on Xbox so I'm still going to add it to my uPlay account just in case I get the urge to play through it again sometime.

Yeah, you only nitpick the nitpickers. That'll learn them who the chief nitpicker is.

It is not quite like Steam.

You must have an EGS account to activate the game. I activated it, downloaded it with EGS and started it. It started Uplay before launching the game. Then, I uninstalled the game, existed EGS and Uplay and then restarted Uplay... the game was in my library. So, EGS is not needed anymore, it is activated on Uplay.

At least, it only needs one client to start :)

Yeah, it worked the same way with For Honor. Basically Epic are just giving you a uPlay game.
