A top-down detective adventure with point-and-click mechanics, inspired by classic Gameboy games, is now available on GOG – we’re talking, of course, about Inspector Waffles Early Days!

Follow Waffles in his first days as an Inspector who wants to prove to everyone that he is more than just a rookie. But beware… Your future worst enemy is hiding in the shadows.

Now on GOG!
Nice. The first Inspector Waffles game was fun.

And even if this one looks completely different, I will probably pick it up in the future.
I had the pleasure of helping out in testing both the original IW game and Early Days (as well as the honour of drawing one of the collectible woolball cards in the first game), I can definitely state that if you enjoyed the first game, you'll also enjoy this prequel. Yes, the graphics and sound are much simpler because of the Game Boy aesthetic, but all of the humour and charm of the original game are present just as much in Early Days. You'll get to see the introduction of many familiar characters while solving 5 smaller cases (and there's a short unlockable bonus case if you pick up on some optional clues in the main content).

Highly recommended!
Wishlisted! This is something that I will get as I enjoyed the first game plus cats!
Look, I quite liked the first game, it wasn't phenomenal but it was nice enough... but this? Why the >roll a d100 for F-word replacement< filibuster would you make this a game boy game? Why would you make your next game intentionally look worse? Nope, count me out.
I backed the kickstarter and having been playing the GB ROM on 3DS. I've finished two cases so far and it's a nice little game. Agreed with the comment above that fans of the original should enjoy this.
I wishlisted this, it looks alright.

This is a good point, it's a step down.
