I'm playing through this now and I'm mostly pleased. Most of the mechanics are intact but some are simplified. Your only stances are running or walking, no sneaking. You can switch angles for the magic ball throw at a button press, and you can lock on to targets for fighting and throwing but it's not helpful for faster moving targets. You can save anytime, but it will take you to the moment you entered the scene. As long as you take advantage of entering and exiting rooms, you can save fairly frequently without losing progress. Game runs fairly smoothly but there are minor bugs for now, like missing text or the camera getting stuck. As far as I can tell, there are no video options, just audio and keys. Most of the maps and puzzle solutions are the same as the original.

I'm just over the moon how Twinsen's adventures transformed from sketches, ideas of remaster, reboot to the remake we have now and upcoming remaster of the second installment. Can't wait to get back to Twinsun's world! Installing right away :-)
I am kind of looking forward to this. Buying it next month because of Xmas.
Woohoo! Party like it's 1994!
29.99 is the new 19.99 :D
Isn't that kinda contradictory? Like Extra Large Tiny Hats?

So why not just say "Medium Sized Adventure"?

Thank you, this is very helpful!
Can you rebind all the keys in the menus? Like movement to arrow keys (I'm a leftie^^)?
Very excited for this <3

You can't redefine the movement keys, but by default both WASD and arrow keys move the character and work in the menus.
Forgot to mention before, the soundtrack is also a remixed version of the original, so lots of nostalgia while playing this. :) Glad I got the deluxe edition.

Thank you so much! So at least I can play it with my keyboard :)
We just need a third game now.
