Great seeing this on GOG on release day. This was going to be an instant buy for me. I forgot I had the season pass. Thanks GOG, Obsidian and Private Division.

GOG.com: Venture to the skies of Eridanos and unravel the grandest murder mystery in the Halcyon colony.
Very psychedelic. Doesn't seem related to Halcyon 6 except the space setting.
Started a new character for this a week ago and didn't realize it was an end game DLC, so I've got a ways to go before I get to it. Playing a long range sniper character this time and I find the combat much more enjoyable than my original pistols cowboy type.
Excited for the release, less excited that Galaxy has forced 2 58-GB downloads on me for some reason. Maybe I shouldn't have to download the whole game just to grab a DLC?

Just inefficient and/or lazy GOG. On Epic, it's just 17gb update.

You can't, it seems. The DLC standalone downloads are only 6 MB each. I guess the DLC content is included in that standalone installer and only unlocked through the DLC download files?

yep, DLCs are included with the game even if you didn't buy them, but only unlock via the store. Same deal on steam and Epic.
“ second grand expansion to the famous open-world RPG” - is that marketing speak for an obscure pretty average fallout 3 clone?
Neat - didn't realize this was a day one release and didn't realize the game is still getting expansions.

I'm actually playing the base game for the first time right now (well, not right now - now I'm typing but... you get the idea).

It's fun - got that sorta silly New Vegas feel. It's neat to jump around to different planets and for a change of pace I actually sorta like the smaller "tighter" open-world. There aren't 3,000 kilometers of actual landmass to explore with an ADD inducing hut or dungeon or distant mountain range around every corner. But there are lots lof little nooks and crannies to scratch that itch.
