Walk the line

The Witness, an island full of mind-bending puzzles solved through keen observation and persistent exploration, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 10% launch discount.

Puzzles. The enigmatic island you've woken up in is dotted with panels full of puzzles. To solve them, all you need to do is draw a continuous line from an entry point to an exit point. Simple, isn't it? It isn't. As in every great mind-bender, there are rules to follow, visual clues to decipher, hidden paths to discover. Designed by Braid's creator Jonathan Blow, the vibrant, meticulously arranged island provides all the hints you need, while at the same time obfuscating its true nature from you. Approaching the puzzles with an open mind and exploring the environment in an open way are essential to overcoming the island's challenges, as you learn to speak its language and fall in love with its deceptive simplicity.

Walk a straight line towards an abundance of brilliant puzzles and become The Witness, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 10% launch discount will last until May 18, 12:59 PM UTC.

IAmSinistar: Oh I did watch the season, I was committed to seeing it through. There was just so much squandered opportunity along the way. Some of which of course is due to falling victim to its own success - most show writers are never sure if they'll get another season, so they only plan for the current one. And it's easier to set up mysterious events than to explain them.
I agree. They actually intended it to be 3 seasons but it got successful which means "we run it until it's not because money."

It would have worked much better in that length. So many shows need to quit after three seasons, which is essentially the classic trilogy format in another guise. Beyond that point they seem to attenuate and exhaust their narrative possibilities. Only shows which are truly episodic (like Doctor Who) or anthologies (like Black Mirror) seem to be able to sustain longer runs.
I bought this game on GOG awhile ago, and was thinking of playing it. But looking at the store page, it seems the game ONLY runs on Windows 7! Can this be right? I have several Win10-64 boxes but no Win7 boxes. Am I screwed? I found NOBODY complaining about the game not running because of their OS, so I'm hoping this is a mistake on the game page.

EDIT: OOPS. I only looked at the "recommended minimum" requirements. It does say it supports Win 7, 8, and 10. Phew!
