Hi, guys!
I have just registered at GOG and I have to say that the concept amazes me and I am willing to fully support it, which means buying games from now on at GOG only (if available). What made me make that decision is the launch of the GALAXY client (or its beta), which could grow to a great alternative to Steam. When visiting the site and the forum, I noticed there were some things missing (for my taste) which, when added/implemented, could add to the comfort of the user/customer and thus attract more people to join the GOG community. Before listing my suggestions, let me beg you guys to share your opinions and suggestions to make GOG or the Galaxy client even better. What do you think?
My suggestions:
- symbols for games, which represent features the games support (e.g. controller support, achievements, etc.)
- tags for games, so they can be filtered for more than the genre (e.g open world, crafting, etc.)
- more categories in the forum to make it more structured (e.g. ideas/suggestions, troubleshooting, off topic, etc.)
- (optional) cloud saving for the Galaxy client
- a friends-list (which carries over to the Galaxy client), so you can, for example, filter for forum topics your friends have created
