metal.zelda: This is my only account. Yeh I wasnt into the controls on Witcher 1 so I jumped into 2 on xbox.
The "timed clicking combat" in TW1 was an initial turnoff for me, too.
I think, I unsuccessfully tried two to three times to get into the game, but shortly after the tutorial I always quit.
It was only when TW2 was about to be released, that I tried it anew - and this time I kept playing it, despite the unusual combat scheme.
Honestly - once you get used to the "timed clicking", the difference between "single enemy" and "group of enemies" attacks, and the restricted usability of the two different swords (iron for human foes only - silver for non-human foes only), you'll very likely end up loving the game.
You should give it another try some time.
metal.zelda: As far as W3 goes I bought it via GOG app, not via disc.
In addition to what Gragar posted above, if you bought TW3 here on GOG, you should have a receipt in your account.
Hover over [your account] (=metal.zelda) in the top bar --> click on [Privacy & Settings] --> look at [Orders History]
There you should find your receipt for TW3 (
showing the Order#, the date of purchase and the price you paid)
With that you can always make your claim towards GOG's support center.
