I've just bought the game Night Lights, and noticed that it doesn't have a Galaxy download option in my library, web page.

I don't recall ever seeing that before, and I have over 1700 game entries in my library at GOG now.

It might have such an option in Galaxy itself, don't know don't use it. Talking other than Offline Installers of course, which is all I ever download. Offline Installer link was present, and that's all.

Has anyone here seen that before? And the name of the game(s).
Another interesting thing, is the displayed number of games for me, as shown in the dropdown menu from my name, hasn't changed (updated) in ages.

It is still showing 1667 games, when I have close to 1710 games now.

I know the numbers have always been a little out of sync, between what is also shown in my library, but that has only ever been by one or two games.

I am guessing this is also happening for others?

I don't think the number has updated since those "my profile shows 0 games" topics started to show up.

My numbers have disappeared completely since about 3 weeks ago in the drop down menu. Games, wishlist, and wallet.
However, the 71 in the top is now shown (not 0 anymore) and it's correct. I hope the other numbers get fixed too.

Okay, thanks.

No worries, thanks.

I don't think I have bought that many games for it to be only three weeks ago, so perhaps a few more weeks for me.

The right number of movies is showing, but I've just realized my Wishlist total is also wrong, no doubt for the same time period.

This has just happened to me. O___o

To the OP - ive been hovering on the same number of games for about a year in the dropdown, but aquired at least 30 with freebies and purchases (probably a lot more tbh).

You know, I guess I never stopped to look at the drop down that closely before, since this was the first time I realized there are movies here.
They used to have a lot more movies available, some at even good prices and some free. Over time I acquired about 10 of them, but not for quite a while now, and I rarely ever check anymore.

Going by the total showing, it can only have happened to me in the last 6 to 10 weeks I reckon, and obviously it took me a while to notice ... just the last few days. I tend to really only look at the total count when I get into my library, and just regularly compare that with what my program returns from the manifest. Mostly I just take note of the increased count in my manifest when I update my owned games list.

i replied to an admin the reason it wasnt working, i even supplied a fix.

i also supplied a temp fix for users wanting to magically see it before they clicked and loaded other pages.

I don't know what kind of movies they had previously, but now all the (very few) movies they have are only about gaming. I wish they could bring some of the more famous movies (maybe Hollywood ones?), then I would surely buy some. Even if it's a lot to ask from a strictly gaming site, I think more famous movies (e.g. Tenet) would make good sales.

Same, same. The dropdown count was frozen for a long while and then suddenly didn't appear at all. But the actual library count is dead on accurate, as is my profile one.

X-Morph: Defense Complete Edition. Only an offline installer option, no blue galaxy button.

My recollection is it was only ever game related movies, plus a few Indie type movies, no Hollywood blockbusters, and I doubt you would get any of those without DRM.
Idk, the drop-down widget is probably not live/in sync or not being used at all anymore, at least for me. For me wallet funds where off to it's real current value and changing currency removes all numbers behind the entries. Changing back brings back the old values.

And then, deleting all browser cookies specific to GoG removes all the numbers. And for the time being they don't show up again. :D

I have that one too, and you are correct, same for me. Good catch.

I bought that back on Nov 17, 2020 and likely did not notice or don't recall doing so, especially as I download via a third party program and don't use the browser links.

Likely using the GOG Refresh option would do the same thing, and I'm not game to use that until I have to, because it might also make my profile show zero games, which I care more about than some mostly unnecessary totals in the drop down menu.

Yes it does, just noticed it a second later...

Well, though not very pleasing to see overall, checking my profile without being logged in reveals the games, but not the count.

EDIT: added the 2nd paragraph.
