If I get some enquiries then I'll oblige, otherwise sail on by.

I might add that there is a lot to do and it is time consuming and you will need to be able to d/l mods from Nexus. There are videos on this but no written way to do it. The videos are fine to get an idea but they fall a long way short of the problems that you will come across.

I had a Fallout3/NV/TTW install setup back in 2017 with a few others. Can share this if you like. It is TTW version 2.9.4. Haven't been back and updated since then though, so would be nice to see a nice modlist/load order.

-------------------------------------
1) Install F3 full
2) Install F3:NV full
3) Install FOMM - Mod Manager to NV
4) Extract Tale Of Two Wastelands
5) Follow this to install
---
Launch the installer .exe file by right-clicking on it and choosing "Run as Administrator". THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL.

When the installer loads, make sure it has found the correct location of both your Fallout 3 and, Fallout New Vegas Installs. If not use the browse button to navigate to the correct game directories.

In the install location field, use the browse button to navigate to your preferred TTW installation directory. DO NOT INSTALL DIRECTLY TO YOUR FNV DIRECTORY.

Click Install.

Watch the log and the progress bars to see how things are going.

The installer can take between 10 to 30 minutes depending on the speed of your computer. Primarily, it is based on your hard drive speed. For example, users with solid state drives, fast processors, and lots of ram will have about 10 minute install times.

When the installer finishes it will ask if you would like it to make a FOMOD; TTW is much easier to install with a mod manager - see below for recommendations. If you would rather do a manual install (not recommended) see the instructions in the next section.

MOD MANAGERS:

- RECOMMENDED: Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM) 0.14.11.12 can handle the install perfectly, even on lower-end systems. If you have issues and are sure you are on FOMM 0.14.11.9 you can swap out the exe with this LAA patch.

Make sure your mod manager is closed. Navigate to the TTW install directory and move the FOMODs (TaleOfTwoWastelands_Main.fomod, TaleOfTwoWastelands_Options.fomod) to your FOMM FNV mods folder (C:\Games\FalloutNV\mods by default)

Open FOMM and click on the "Package Manager" button. A new window should open and you should see two new FOMODs (Tale of Two Wastelands - Main files, Tale of Two Wastelands - Optional Files). Install Main Files first and the Optional Files afterward.
NOTE: FOMM will become "(Not Responding)" and freeze for a while when installing the main TTW fomod, that is because the size of the fomod file is huge and FOMM needs to unpack and move several GB of data, this takes time. Do not close FOMM until it finished and loses the (Not Responding) status.
---
6) Install the hotfixes, to do this expand the zip to a folder, then package manager, create fomod from folder, then activate the fomod
7) Install Marts Monster Mod by:
---
Create a work folder and call it Data
Extract MMM 1-RC61 and move the meshes, sounds and textures folders into the Data folder you created
Extract the files from this post and copy the contents to the Data folder you created
In the Data work folder you created, navigate to meshes\creatures\smspinebreaker and delete the following files:

smcaptain.nif
smspinebreakerbare.nif
smspinebreakerbare2.nif
smspinebreakerheavy.nif
smspinebreakerheavy2.nif
smspinebreakerheavy3.nif
smspinebreakerlight.nif
smspinebreakerlight2.nif
smspinebreakerlight3.nif
smspinebreakermedium.nif
smspinebreakermedium2.nif
smspinebreakermedium3.nif

Compress the Data folder you created with winrar or 7zip , call it MMM-TTW or something and install it with your mod manager of choice
???
Profit!
---
8) Add 255 Level mod
9) Install NMC graphics with:
---
4. Extract the Fallout 3 pack.

5. Extract the script package.

6. Select the script that corresponds to the Fallout 3 pack you downloaded
and copy it into the TEXTURES sub folder of the extracted pack.

7. Double click on the script to execute it. It will remove textures that
do not exist in the Fallout 3 BSA's and remove textures that are
duplicates of the files contained in the Fallout 3 BSA's. When the scrip
has finished, delete it.

8. Extract all the files of the New Vegas Pack (1 - 3 archives). If you've
chosen the Medium or Large versions, you need to copy the TEXTURES
folders into the same place. I recommend you copy 2 and 3 into folder 1.

9. Select the script that corresponds to the New Vegas pack you downloaded
and copy it into the TEXTURES sub folder that you moved the other
TEXTURES folders into.

10. Double click on the script to execute it. It will remove textures that
do not exist in the New Vegas BSA's and remove textures that are
duplicates of the files contained in the New Vegas BSA's. When the script
is finished, delete it.

11. If you downloaded Washed out Wasteland extract the archive and continue
to step 12. If you did not download Washed out Wasteland skip to step
15.

12. Select the script that corresponds to the Washed out Wasteland pack that
you downloaded and copy it into the TEXTURES sub folder of the extracted
pack.

13. Double click on the script to execute it. It will remove textures that
do not exist in the New Vegas BSA's and remove textures that are
duplicates of the files contained in the New Vegas BSA's. When the script
is finished, delete it.

14. Copy the TEXTURES sub folder of the extracted Washed out Wasteland
extracted pack to the New Vegas pack directory where the other
extracted textures are.

15. If you downloaded the Large Texture Pack Patches continue to step
16. If you did not download the Large Texture Pack Patches skip
to step 18.

16. Extract the Large Texture Pack Patches pack.

17. Copy the TEXTURES sub folder of the extracted Large Texture Pack Patches
to the New Vegas pack directory where the other extracted textures are.

18. Copy the MESHES and TEXTURES folders of the combined cleaned New Vegas
pack to the extracted and cleaned Fallout 3 pack folder and overwrite
any files.

19. You now have a cleaned and combined NMC texture pack which you can
pack into an fomod or archive to install with your favorite mod
management application.

Instructions unclear - got dick stuck in CPU fan
nightcraw1er.488

Not too bad and good work but when I have the time I'll fill in the missing bits. The new version is 3.2.2 and is pretty stable but it has bugs with W10 that a lot of people will have trouble with. For some unknown reason couldn't reply to your post. Nope, not too long as it wouldn't let me add just two lines and so I added the rest here:)

Very basic instructions.

0. ''Shakes Head''
1.Clean install of F3 (no mods)
2.Clean install of FNV (no mods)
3.Run both games to set up an auto config file, only need to reach start menu...(This is needed for TTW installer.Otherwise it will say that it cant find the games or games aren't installed).
4.D/L TTW 3.2 and the two updates from their site and JIP LN NVSE Plugin
5.Right click TTW installer and run as ADMIN and install to FNV Data folder
6.Do the same for the updates
7.Install FOMM or which ever Mod Manager tickles your fancy
8.Install JIP LN NVSE Plugin as the game needs it ( Note: NVSE is installed via TTW installer and JIP is also needed to run and fix the game).
Install compatible mods for TTW and most FNV mods are okay but F3 is a different story and are not really compatible.

0. It will come, just give it time.
1. and 2......... I installed to D/Drive/Gog Games.
3. Is very important as the TTW installer needs it.
4. Obvious.
5. Correct way without using a Mod Manager.
6. Install two small updates, as you did with 3.2.
7. Is done after using TTW installer.
8. Is a must as the mods wont work and you need the latest version.

Fallout 3 mods are incompatible with TTW and not recommended.
Most FNV mods are okay but some are incompatible and the site should be checked before installing mods.
I just let the TTW installer do it's job and it can take a couple of hours to install.
I installed it straight to FNV data file but you can install into another folder but it must be the same drive.

Problems, yep plenty but if you ask here you may get an answer.

Please note that this is a very complex installation and researching is advised.

The MM: Mod Manager is used to launch the game once installed and not the game icons.
I use FOMM: Fallout Mod Manager as it is very good. Just say yes to what it wants to do.
Once TTW is installed, the DLC's must be in a certain order or the game will not launch.

The TTW load order must be:

FalloutNV.esm
DeadMoney.esm
HonestHearts.esm
OldWorldBlues.esm
LonesomeRoad.esm
GunRunnersArsenal.esm
Fallout3.esm
Anchorage.esm
ThePitt.esm
BrokenSteel.esm
PointLookout.esm
Zeta.esm
CaravanPack.esm
ClassicPack.esm
MercenaryPack.esm
TribalPack.esm
TaleofTwoWastelands.esm
And the MODS that you may want to install

Do I need Sheson's Memory Patch?
Sheson's Memory Patch code is incorporated in NVSE, and the setting to enable it is already enabled in the \nvse\nvse_config.ini which is included in the TTW installation.

Cool, one day I will get back to F3/NV. Not going to claim any credit for what I posted, it’s likely a mashup of TTW website from that time, and nexus amongst others. Quite a lot of mod lists out there, and with the great tools available now you can spend more time modding than playing. Just reinstalled Skyrim, spent several hours downloading and installing, haven’t actually done more than create a character before getting bored! I can check my backups, I likely have a mod install list purely for F3 from back when, if your interested in things that don’t port to TTW install (in fact each Bethesda game occupies some 40gb or more with various mod lists, yikes!)

Got the basic TTW installed and working... though had to do it twice... for some reason the install through Galaxy didn't work - had to download the installers...

Any recommendations for mods aside from the ones recommended on the forum? Also any hints with load order - especially for mods that have compatibility patches? The only (fairly unsuccessful) times I've dared to dabble with mods I've used LOOT... so that's thrown things out a bit

You can see the ones I play with in my post. It’s really hard to recommend mods, as there are so many and a lot of it is down to personal taste, even between versions of the same mod. Have a look on TTW for a list of compatible mods, install what you think looks good from there.
Be cautious though, you can end up spending your time adding mods and never playing. I would stick with a few bigs ones and be done with it.

As for install, I would never use a client . Grab the installers, and ***important*** install outside windows folders. Do the for everything, apps or games, it avoids a lot of issues with UAC for instance.

I didn’t need loot for my setup, just fallout mod manager. And my mods are:
255 max level, Marta mutant mod, nmcstexture pack, TTW, fell out, and wasteland flora overhaul.

Edit: And last time I fired up F: NV I used just plain install with EVE, More Perks, Nevada Skies, NMC, Project Nevada, Wasteland flora overhaul as:
---------------
NEvada skies
1. Copy all the files into the Fallout New Vegas "Data" Directory
2. You always have to activate NevadaSkies.esm
3. Choose between the files listed below and only activate one of them, never together!

- NevadaSkies - Basic Edition.esp -> This file has to be activated if you do not own DLC Content Packs
- NevadaSkies - Ultimate DLC Edition.esp -> This file has to be activated, if you have all FNV DLCs.
- NevadaSkies - TTW Edition.esp -> This file has to be activated, if you have Tale of Two Wastelands installed.

4. Put the ESP-File of your Choice at the very end of your load order! Delete the other two ESP-Files.
5. Now your Fallout New Vegas "Data" Directory should hold the files listed below:

- meshes/sky/clouds.nif (has to be out of the BSA-Archive to work correctly)
- NevadaSkies - Main.bsa
- NevadaSkies - Sounds.bsa
- NevadaSkies.esm
- ESP of your choice (see point 3)

6. If you miss any of these files, it won't work.

MOre perks:
I) Installation Procedure

a) Patch your game to the latest version. (1.4 is the latest as of July 2012)

I'm afraid mods are personal tastes but one I can recommend is AWOP....A World of Pain from Nexus.
