timppu: So isn't your problem more about the bundle discounts not being high enough, rather than that they shouldn't exist in the first place?
Pretty much, yeah. If the discounts were consistently high enough, then I wouldn't have a problem with them. So rather than getting rid of bundles entirely, I would make the following changes to them:

- No bundles with less than an 85% off discount, with the exception of rare cases where the games are recent enough that a 66% or 75% discount would be special.

- The discount for individual games in a bundle would be what you would normally expect if they had been discounted individually. So a bundle might include 20 games at 85% off, but individually you could buy them for 75% off.
Website:
• Add two-factor authentication (seriously, it's 2015)
• Filter reviews by language and/or rating
• Sort reviews by rating, helpfulness or date
• Remove or hide reviews that are rated as unhelpful (e.g. < 10% helpfulness)
• Mark games as 'already owned' or 'not interested' (useful for sales)
• Make the social plugins and trackers opt-in or at least opt-out
• Fix the RSS feed (currently every entry is duplicated for each language)
• Show additional ratings from popular aggregators like Metacritic
• Fix this grammar error: nederlands > Nederlands

Forum:
• Support HTML5 web notifications
• Integrate the forum more with the rest of the website, including design
• Remove user ratings (the atmosphere is polite enough, it doesn't need them)
• Suppress the 'edited X minutes ago' status when a post has been edited within a few minutes after being posted
I would add a glass theme for the entire website to match the glass shelf. I would like to group my games by series too. Not sure if it is already available though.

Sorry, is the number 85 or 75 or 60% off really that important to you? You are quick to get rid of features that don't really affect you, but may be useful to other people. Your wish could easily be fulfilled and surpassed. GoG could easily offer 99% off on everything - they'd just have to adjust base price in the opposite direction. In the end, it's the amount of money they get that is important - both to you and to them.

Anecdotic evidence: I bought The dig and Loom off the Lucasarts bundle on saturday. Not the whole bundle, too much stuffing there that I'm not iterested in. I got both for 62.43% off, and I don't feel harmed because I didn't reach the 75% (or was it 85?). Again, I look at the final price, not %. If it's right I buy it. If it goes for double the discount the next day - well tough luck, I got it for the price I was comfortable with, someone more lucky than me will get it for half. This approach makes life much less stressful.

BTW I don't think pricing policy is GoG website feature, this might be going off-topic.
I guess these have been mentioned already. With these I would be relatively happy overall.

1, Fix the most glaring errors, like forum replies not being shown currently in the Account tab (it used to work, now it doesn't).

2. Add the ability to see (search) all messages written by a user, especially myself.

3. Optional (enabled by default) two-step authentication, if someone tries to change either your password or email address. On top of that, an optional notification to email if someone accesses your account from another country (or a new PC; but in my case this would be triggered all the time if it is based on cookies, as I always automatically clear the cookies between web browsing sessions).

I look less at the discount percentages, and more to what the game actually costs (compared to how much gaming value I expect the game to offer for that price, e.g. I'd be willing to pay much less for a short and amateurish indie walking simulator, than a discounted few years old high-profile game).

For instance in the current sales, I've happily bought many games with e.g. 50% discounts, I still felt they were worth the asking price. The other day I felt so odd you could buy games like The Witcher 1-2 for a few bucks each, it feels insanely cheap for such games. But I guess the expectation is the sales for them are now quite low already, competition is fierce.

I like bundles.
And I also like mystery games kind of sales. It's not for everyone, but it gives the biggest discounts in games. And rewards people with big collections on GOG. (The prioritizing of games you don't own works well. Though, yeah, it sucks for those with collections spread among several different stores).

Some other thing to fix I didn't read above:
- Owned status of different game editions. Many times if you buy the base game, and afterwards the <whatever> edition upgrade, that edition of the game doesn't show as owned in the store. There are also many issues in that regard with kickstarted games.

No need to be too ambitious. Besides the custom-orderable shelf there are other things that used to exist: reviews long enough for explanatory detail, a drop-down search box that works on every page, a forum where you post and get taken to the post you just made instead of a big empty space at the bottom of the page...
1/ Replace all use of recaptcha by systems that works and doesn't screw users
2/ A search function that works properly for both the forum and the catalog
3/ A function to subscribe to tinyE posts.
Add an ignore user function for the forums.

Was just going to post this.

Also, full HTTPS of the entire site. It's 2015. Broadcasting what everyone says and does in the clear is clearly not OK.

tfishell: What are the most important changes/improvements that you would make to the site
Sack everybody not immediately sorting this deathtrap out.
Increase overall GOGbear output, merchandise said GOGbears, buy out majority share of steam with profits from said GOGbear sales.
Transfer Judas to the Red Sox.
Reduce the price of all poorly recieved sequels.
Transfer Judas to Man Utd before the end of the first season.
Upon market saturation of GOGbears, transfer them to Man Utd.
Put Judas out to pasture.
Make tinyE official stableboy.
Transfer JMich to head office.
Make new uniform for GOG support - each day they must come in dressed as a steel girder.
Transfer GOGbears to warzones across the planet.

...I'm not telling you anymore or you'll just copy my ideas! O_____o~
Repair basic forum functionality, like:
- sorting out the mess with "Account" appearing as if logged out
- preventing update notifications from sticking around even after you've downloaded the files
- actually finding specific posts that someone links too
- respecting line breaks even if you edit your post
- allowing to format entire blocks of text not just lines (e.g. so you don't have to write (i) (/i) for every line)
- adding a preview for checking your message before posting
- making the search functions more useful so that we don't have to use google to find GOG threads
- making the quick search for gamepages available from the forums again, without redirecting to the Games section first

Move the wishlist out of "beta" status.

Add a section where you can actually browse and search for GOG Mixes, without having to use Google or go to a gamepage first.

Reintroduce manual sorting in the library and the wishlist.

Use less confusing version numbers that are in accordance with the official game versions and patch numbers.

And be more user-friendly when it comes to patching without Galaxy. Don't make users download and install the whole (*** GB) game again just because they missed a patched, because the latest patch is not compatible with their version and the previous patches are not available for download anymore.

Improve the design of gamepages in a way that you can see the most important information at first glance on most PC screens, without having to scroll down first (e.g. screenshots above trailer, game info above social media buttons etc.)

- Bring back the old manageable shelf...
- Stop blocking certain games / devs, often popular / praised ones from joining the lineup...
- Put some deal on the Simon the Sorcerer games, still waiting...
I like most of the suggestions already given. The one that I will add will be to have an option to be notified of updates to game for the platform you want. I don't own a Mac so I do not want to see updates to game for them. Also if I did select to be notified for all 3 platforms, please only tell me once if the game was updated for multiple platforms. I do not need the notification 3 times :)
