moho_00: I would REALLY like to see Planescape: Torment on here...if it doesn't show up soon, I'm going to have to pay a ridiculous amount of money on Ebay to play it >:(

GuruSY: +1.
I missed Planescape when it came out, and I have been regretting it ever since.

Its hard to believe that a game that cost me all of a dollar fifty because it was the "4 CD version" and the store wanted to sell the "smaller shelf space 2 CD version" quoted by store employee. Is so hard to find now and going for obscene prices.
i missed the Baldur's Gate games and would love to get my hands on these without searching for a copy...
Should put this in the game wishlist thread

I got my copy at Office Depot of all places, when they sold value pack software for $5 and $10!
There's always Gametap. I think it's $50 a Year or $10 a month. I was a subscriber, until I was asked to beta test and now I get it for free.
It would be great to get the games here though, since you could download and own them.
I would rebuy the Baulder's Gate II and TOB if GOG could release a version that had working LAN multiplayer on Vista. It was annoying having to go back to XP when I wanted to play a good with my roomate over the summer. Yes I tried all of the recommendations that worked for some, but it rarely worked. Running the game windowed was just as likely to work as running it full screen. I even put the host computer in a DMZ on my network and disabled all firewalls. No computer could conenct to the game. The second I set up an XP computer to host though, it went great. Even vista clients connected fine.
As for GameTap, I liked it, but not enough to deal with them refusing to work on a 64-bit version. If what you're beta testing turns out to be such a version though...

GameTap isn't the one refusing, it's Exant(sp?) Technology who provides the encryption software for GameTap, and every other Games on Demand service out there, that refuses to make a 64-bt compatible encryption scheme.

Yeah, I knew it was the DRM used for the windows games, (hence why the emulated and DOSBOX wrapped games have no issues) I just wasn't sure if that was something they contracted out or not. Though, I should have known when I saw that Verizon's gaming service didn't work with 64-bit either. It's really a shame about that. Hopefully it doesn't take a game actually needing 4GB of RAM for them to change.
Like many others I'd absolutely love to see Planescape Torment available. But seems like it could be tough judging by Mikee's post in the Grim fandango thread:
[...]Or situation where there is more than one IP owner (for example, one company own the world, other the game itself).
Unfortunatelly Planescape: Torment is one of this special cases. Its whole fantasy world was closed by Wizzards, therefore sale of all products from this world should be discontinued. But there is always a hope :-) ..We are not known more widely worldwide, but we're in the games business for, woohooo, 14 years (time passing fast:-) ), and we licensed (for Eastern Europe) I think around 1.000 games so far. And we made many unusual and difficult deals and we know that the most important is keep on trying. What is what we're doing right now to get more content for GOG :-)
So stayed tune, we'll do our best not to disappoint :-)
In fact, that's our be or not to be ;-)
