Most Sierra and Lucasarts adventuregames (pre 3D and FMV) constantly amaze me how good they look. Despite low resolution the hand painted art has stood the test of time far better than early 3D stuff, even pre-renderered, that was used in some games.

For me, the Infinity Engine games still look great. Well, most of them. BG2, IWD, IWD2. Temple of Elemental Evil looks awesome as well.

Games with hand drawn animation, like Broken Sword 1 & 2.

Also, Quake. Honestly, I loaded it up earlier this year and thought it looked pretty good.

- WipEout 2097 (its graphics still looks fresh and awesome to me)
- HALF-LIFE 2 (lots of people says that the graphics is heavily outdated, LOL)
- COMMAND & CONQUER 1
- DUKE NUKEM 3D ATOMIC EDITION
- RAIDEN 2
- The Chaos Engine
- DESCENT 1 + 2
- AQUANOX 2
- Wolfenstein 3D
- X-COM Enemy Unknown (the original)
- Chrono Trigger

I could just go on and on and on and on with still looking good games.

Yeah i recently played the dig with my step dad and he though it was horrible looking when i told how there are still some games that come out today that look like it he didn't believe me

yeah can't go wrong with the infinity engine also fear effect for psx i really like the fmv backgrounds and everything i believe the resident evil remake used something like it
