Just rewatched the thing, and I'm loving this line: "You tell me exactly what you want and I will very carefully explain to you why it cannot be". Sounds like a message for players :P

Crsldmc: I'm gonna wait for the PC version, hope is not as lame as it was with GTA IV at first hand.

Nothing really mind blowing, just graphics and the mechanics which I found interesting, loved the fact their revisiting the older cities, I'm just dreaming they get to deliver us a new Vice City experience.
IMO, part of the beauty of Vice City comes from the fact that it's an 80s setting; with this game we are getting a 21st century Los Santos and surroundings, so it won't be as charming as VC, nor as big and varied as SA.

I just thought the same about that line!!! hahahaha

And you're totally right, it's going to be entertaining that's for sure, but as you say variety and ambient will not be that huge against VC or SA.

We all know they'll deliver a VC located new GTA, I just hope they keep up with the 80s, Miami is not as charming as it was back in those days.

Everybody really likes the 1980s did they, did you grew up in the 80s, I do not know I was born 90s.
To be honest, I saw it several hours ago and I was kind of turned off.
It doesn't have any of the atmosphere VC had (nor did 4 and that was also pretty much a snooze fest), SA I didn't really like as much as VC but at least it had its own personality as did 3 which was also amazing because it was the first time we saw GTA in 3D.
This looked bland and it looks like it's going in a direction I don't really want the GTA franchise to go.
It looked more like that latest Driver game.
It'll probably still be alright, but unless the next couple of trailers show something amazing it is most definitely not a day 1 purchase for me.

keeveek: Games that didn't stopped developping except for technology since their 3rd part

Fenixp: Well to be fair game also promises multi-character story progression, which thre's too few of as far as I'm concerned. The 'plan your mission' and 'switch between characters' mechanics seem pretty damn cool as well. We'll see how much do they actually hold on to their promises.
It will depend on how much it really will be that or it will be just some "cool" feature that will appear to be only a bunch of scripts.

Also... In all GTA games we had a very unlikeable protagonist... And now we will get THREE of them... 3 douchebags instead in the price of one.

Crsldmc: I agree with you.
I'm waiting for the PC version as well. If it never comes, then I'll never play it.

I thought they were trying to fix that with say Niko Bellic and Luis Lopez in GTA 4?

I was born in 1992 but there were no neon lights, dance/good old rock music and abuse of drugs like in the 80s or 70s hehe :)

I had some words wrong, I wrote that really fast, I'll correct!

Dance/pop music like the 80s? nah, nowadays dance/pop music is just garbage (good thing people like Kavinsky and Perturbator exist) 90s had excellent rock too, I was referring to good old classic rock in my earlier post (Jimi Hendrix, The Who and so on)

Every GTA game should have 80s neon lights, hahaha just kidding.

Or maybe not... :)

Goatbrush: Lost Vikings meets GTA. Looks interesting.

Also looking forward to how the GTA Online thing ends up.
I prefer to think "Yakuza with cars"

Or San Andreas without a black dude?
This game looks to have an amazing amount of things to pursue... simply awesome! I can't wait for it to be released!!
Looks remarkably average. Tennis, Yoga, diving. Whoopty-fuckin'-do.
