Well, looong time ago i played a game, just for a week i was playing it. It was the demo version of it, i can only remember screens of it, the way it looked and some gameplay actions and choices that were the first ones appearing in a pc-game before my eyes.
Problem is: i can't remember the game's name, so i will give a description of how i remember it and hope someone will show the way. Opinions are very welcome.
I remember it was a strategy game, you were controlling a group of humans in a time of farms and cows, etc. It was the first game were i saw that it was turning from night to day and the opposite. People were giving birth to babies and they were growing up. At least at the start you were controlling a somewhat village.
As much as i am trying i can't recall something more!
I truely hope that with your help i can find this game. I did not have the opportunity to buy it and play it and so just because i liked it that much, in it's demo version, it has stuck in mind and heart.
Settlers?
It also could be:
Beasts & Bumpkins
I would also say Beasts & Bumpkins, the only game I know where you actually hear babies being born :)
Beasts and Bumpkins that's it!
Judging from what i saw in screenshots and from what i've read in reviews, after a search i did in the game.
Truely thanks for your help, i did not expect it to be so easy for you guys to help me out here :)
Be well.
Another game you may want to check out is Cultures. It is a fun game for those that have patience as it is not a fast paced game at all. It is all about building a community that is self sustaining and then eventually you build an army.
However, even the army has to come from your existing population. Meaning you have to take someone off a job and make him a soldier.
Cultures is a fun game for the certain people.
The series games:
Cultures
Cultures 2: Gates of Asgard
Northland They lost the ability to call it Cultures after connecting with JoWooD on Cultures 2.
8th Wonder Only available from the UK
I have never heard of this game but I think it's pretty amazing how quickly it was identified
this is a great board
