You thought the war was over once and for all? With the release of Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising at GOG.com, it begins all over again.
Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising combines real-time strategy with explosive action, played from a third-person perspective. You take command of Antaeus, an aircraft carrier and the last remaining war machine, and fight against a cabal of old-world dictators. You're the world's last hope. Don't let us down.
This is seriously one of the greatest games I've ever played... I don't know why more people haven't played the hell out of it.
ditto... one of my all time favorite games, ive finished it at least half a dozen times... and ill prolly buy it here just to not have to worry about keeping track of the now quite battered disk :)

Cool.
Would there also happen to be a feature through which we can request game titles? For games such as Half Life, Halo and Return to Castle Wolfenstein?
Hopefully the Tuesday after, GOG releases a DRM free version of Spore.
Half-Life is by Valve, which they sell on their steam website, so that's probably a no-go. Return to Castle Wolfenstein is sold by id, so again, a no-go. Halo is still on store shelves, and since it's Microsoft, you can bet that's a no-go. And I seriously doubt they can release a NEW game like Spore that has JUST hit the shelves. Come on people, these people at GOG are doing a fantastic job, but be reasonable, they can't just grab other peoples releases and sell them for cheap, especially new releases.

Lol u gotta be kidding
yeah i think some people are failing to get the "old" part of "good old games" :)
This game is truelly one of those classics sadly not noticed on release. The game is excellant like carrier command on the atari st. Still have the original game here.
Highly recommend to everyone.

Totally agreed, wonderful game that deserved a lot more attention that it got.
I bought this game about six years ago and still haven't played it. It's actually sitting in the CD rack right next to my monitor.

that, sir, is a CRIME! play it, you wont be disappointed...
I stayed up too late playing the demo last night. THIS is the way a real-time strategy should be, to hell with pointy-clicky Blizzard and Relic.

This game, much like AD&D Planescape, suffered from one of the worst box covers of all time (as far as attracting customer attention) and had almost no advertising support. What is inside, however is a game that has never failed to entertain even after multiple replays and is a squad based vehicle assault game second only to Battlezone (Uprising gets an honorable mention, however). If you don't have it, buy it.
I read about this game in a "best games you never played" article a few years back, and really enjoyed it. Until I read that article, I don't remember having seen or heard about the game anywhere.
