It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Would be nice if one was allowed to view the screenshots before buying a game too, not just for the owned games. As it is now all screenshots on non-bought games are just pitch black. I don't think I would ever buy something without actually knowing at least a tiny bit about it.
What? I can see screenshots just fine on all games, not just the ones I own. The issues must be on your end.
Where? I see screenshots here when I click on them . Are you sure you don't have a browser cache problem?
Found what makes the difference, but not why it does.

for example: https://secure.gog.com/gamecard/fallout_2 shows screenshots just fine, while http://www.gog.com/gamecard/fallout_2 does not.

It can, but should not be, browser-dependent. Inspecting the div/table shows that there is no img-tag at all under id "zoom-table" when loading it with normal http. I've not bothered going through the javascript.

In both cases you mentioned I can see pictures.
Same with tburger above, on both links I can see the screenshots just fine. I try with a game I do not yet have: Urban Chaos
http://www.gog.com/gamecard/urban_chaos
https://secure.gog.com/gamecard/urban_chaos
Both are fine.

Disable any addons you have for your browser, or add both secure.gog.com and www.gog.com to your exception list. Try it with another browser as well, to verify that it is an addon problem.
@JMich, I dont use generalized addons, but ty for your help. =)

I have read through all the visible code now. The site is not standardscompliant and references -moz- and -webkit- specific functionality, which means it does not work on Opera when the w3c standard css naming does not exist. Why they use separate site-design on the https version and http-version, I have no idea.

Case is closed anyways, site not working well on Opera.

I check with Firefox, Chrome, and Opera. All three display the screenshots nicely. No problem here.
If you use explorer try using compatibility modus that wripped paper symbol next to were the page adress is located. Gog.com seems to have some issues with that.
