The remake of Spelunky already available on Xbox Live Arcade is finally getting a PC release. Steam and GOG will get it first while the Humble Store version will follow. The freware version is still available to play.

Nice. Although I foresee its inclusion in a Humble Bundle a few months later ...
I'm pretty excited about this. Although I still haven't gotten my fill of the demo on XBLA (hence why I haven't bought it yet), it'll be nice to have a PC copy that's DRM-free.
The game's got a release date, August 8th.
That's just uncanny, I was expecting the same person to have posted in both threads but two people who found two separate threads.
