Yeah, but it's another free WC project :)

It's a modification for Wing Commander Secret Ops. Meaning it feels more like WC Prophecy than anything else. It's set between WC 2 + 3, and since WC Saga is parallel to WC 3, Standoff fits chronologically right before Saga.

It's pretty good, but don't feel bad about playing on easy difficulty. The game can be pretty unforgiving, if you don't know what you're doing.

When will this be ready?

March 22nd. At least that's what the team is aiming at.

AFAIK they're currently testing release candidates.

Still the 22nd. I follow WC Saga on Facebook and they haven't announced any delays so far.

Download the current release. I experienced no serious bugs with it.

besides, I don't think there is any point in waiting for an update. Standoff was released years ago, and nothing much has happened since then, except for the package for Apple computers.
