I can no longer play GOG games without loggin in to Galaxy. I get a window that tells me to log in so galaxy can INSTALL the game. This is the most important feature for me.

I can not find a tab or a button for community. That's not a biggie, but it would be helpful to get to post about these issues without having to login a second time through a browser.

Galaxy 2.0 "lost" Grim Dawn. The game jammed and I had to shut it down via CTRL-ALT-DEL and now it no longer appears on my "installed" games list, but in "all" games wherein the option is to "install" it even though the game is installed on my computer.

It also apparently corrupted my Bard's Tale 4 Directors cut gamefiles since upon trying to play, it gives me an error message that "could not start" indicating to some win64 files. I played the game for an hour earlier and it worked fine, but after a pause it no longer works.

I also can't seem to roll back because trying to install the older version just says that a newer version is already installed and the installation will exit now.


Is there something I'm doing wrong here, or are these just bugs and glitches and design errors?

This thing looks nicer to the eye than the previous version, but it clearly needs more patches and fixes.

I uninstalled 2.0 and re-installed the older version.

The problems I listed remain as something to look at, but as far as I'm concerned... No rush. I'll check the 2.0 again once it's out of beta and I have some confirmation that games can at least be played without galaxy working almost like a DRM that forces a log in.
